PRSA honors HCRC’s Cameron for behavioral science research

The Public Relations Society of America Foundation named Glen T. Cameron, Ph.D., the 2014 recipient of the Jackson Jackson & Wagner Behavioral Science Prize. The prize recognizes an individual or team of behavioral science researchers who have enhanced the field’s understanding of behavioral science and the theories that advance the practice of public relations. In addition to serving as the Health Communication Research Center’s co-director, Cameron is the Maxine Wilson Gregory Chair in Journalism Research at the Missouri School of Journalism. Co-author of the leading introductory public relations text, Public Relations: Strategies and Tactics, Cameron continues to focus his research on strategic conflict management, information processing and tailored health news.
